Oh hello little Farm Fair. . .

As many of you have probably wondered, I did have to stop blogging for about a 3 week period. This broke my heart, I have so missed you followers!!!!! But trust me. This girl has been BUSY working on something very, very special that I hinted to you about in the past couple of blog posts. And that is, a Farm Fair. I took the opportunity when a lady from The Farm at Rabon contacted me about possibly doing some vending down at their farm fair in September. This was one of those surreal moments where I got the message, and it was almost too good to be true. But the more I talked to her, she was so sweet and patient and explained everything to me, and this surreal moment turned into reality. I was heading into a direction that I was not expecting, and I couldn't wait to get going on this amazing adventure. Thus, the last three weeks have been filled with tons of summer school, working two jobs, AND very importantly, crafting up enough products to share in a display.
I remember a month ago sitting in my Chemistry class, and I felt SO inspired out of the blue. This happens to me a lot when I am at school, and when it happens, I just have to sketch. So I sketched and drew and repenciled in my products and setup until I FINALLY came up with this. It totally won my heart. I hope it is leaving you absolutely smitten. I need to give a HUGE thank you to my sister-in-law Mary who worked so incredibly hard on painting my logo on a banner that I crafted. She did such an amazing job, and it took a really hard project off of my hands, she is the sweetest. The hardest part about creating this display was most definitely the logs. I was tempted to give up, but once I have a picture in my head of what I've envisioned, I just have to execute it! So execute I did. And I woke up the next morning not being able to move. Carrying those logs was such a huge workout!!!!!! I think the worst part was, when I was picking out my logs in the pile by my neighbor's house, I would pick up a log (and to my dismay) find all sorts of creepy crawlies and termites and centipedes. Talk about gross!!!! But I managed ;) And the final product of a log "table front" was totally worth every second of looking at icky bugs. Take a look at all of the creations I've had the absolute privilege of making over the last 3 weeks. . .
Embroidery Hoops have a very special place in my heart. Little details always make me so happy. Check them out in my Etsy shop!
These pillows are my most favorite to craft. There is something special about making a product, and knowing that someone is going to love and cherish it in their home.
Hair Ties!!!!!! My neighbor actually inspired me to make these. We have crafting days when we can, and I am always leaving so inspired by her. She wanted something little and darling to wear in her hair, so this is what I came up with. Doesn't it feel so amazing to be inspired by someone?! Be sure to check these little guys out, my Etsy shop has these for a super good deal! Great gifts or even a treat-your-self moment. With summer being here, I can't survive this weather without one!
And these are the amazing sets of stationary that I have printed. I originally painted the flower wreaths and little rose bud, and just got them printed out onto little postcards. Bellis Printing Center did an absolutely phenomenal job. Such top quality, love working alongside them.
HA! These little fat guys just instantly bring a smile to my face. Oh mercy, aren't you just in love?! Too too cute for words. Love these little guys.
And of course. I am doing woodland animal lovies. Hoping to do these two and add a raccoon, bear, and a lion. More to come for sure!
Handpainted Magnets. Slay me, I love these things. They are so much fun to use, and they are super strong! I decided to handpaint some magnets so that my customers could simply just have a little "take away" from the farm fair. They are 50 cents a piece, and I am going to have WAY too much fun making these.
In honor of the farm fair, this one wins. Most definitely.
And these are little bow headbands. Just a little something to add to your everyday accessories. These will be available in Adult and Children's sizes. Super excited, I love bows so much.
And last, but most certainly not least, my cheese cloth handtowels. Ah, I had so much fun handpainting this. I love how these aways turn out. So simple and inviting. And that my friends is all I have to share with you for now! I am back to blogging, so get ready for some updates and DIY's coming your way!!!!!! Hope with me as I just entered in my application for the Farm Fair. I am so giddy and excited right now, I just can't help it. I will let you know the moment I find out. Even if it is a decline, this journey was so, so worth it. Hope you enjoyed this update!!!!! I've just missed you so much. Much love!                                          xoxo- Megs
