DIY Tie Headbands. . .

A tutorial for the easiest project EVER. Takes me 5 minutes to make these, so fun for gifts and what not! Hope you have as much fun making these as I did!
Let's do the fun part first, pick out an amazing tie! I got mine at a thrift store. Somehow that just makes them 100% way better!
Here is how you make the stretchy part for the back. . . take two hair ties, and intertwine them to make a knot like the steps above show.
Measure the tie on your head to get a perfect fit. Remember to do it a little tighter so that the back of the headband can be tight enough to stay close to your head. Then you will cut off the thin part of the end of the tie. "Thread" it through the hair ties, and fold up. Make the tips triangle like this. Sew a zig-zag stitch back and forth over each side to hold in place.
Do this for both sides.
And here you go! An AMAZINGLY easy craft, I use my headbands all the time. Especially on those days that you just need to clean the house and put your hair up. Love love love, hope you enjoy.
Here are two that I made! It is SO much fun to pick different patterns.
Haha and here are just some random captures. Happy Weekend :)
