"There's No Stopping Curiosity..."

Here are a couple little video clips from our curious adventures. Savannah, take me back.

Savannah, please take me back. . .

Driftwood Beach is one of those places that has my heart, and I'm not sure I will ever get it back. Every day I want to go back and be inspired like I know I was when I first visited this magical place. The twisting branches and roots were so whimsical and breathtaking. We got to eat lunch up in the driftwood, and it was as if we were on top of the world. The fresh ocean air, sand in my toes, the sun was beaming down so bright, I thought I might never want to leave. This was the start of my Christmas vacation, and it couldn't have started any better.
This is Jessica. She is one of those sweet friends that I'm not sure what I would do without. God really surprised me by bringing her into my life, and I can't imagine not being friends with her. She lives in Savannah, Georgia, and I got to go visit her and her family for three days. We did so much adventuring. Driftwood beach, Jekyll Island, and Tybee Island were three of the beaches we visited. Get ready to be inspired by our explorations.
In December, it is not common to go running through the ocean water. With the weather being 70*,  I couldn't help but throw off my shoes and pearls and just run free, so free into the big blue waters that touched the sky.
it WAS a little windy.

Autumn Joys. . .

Meet the Lindsey family!!!!! This sweet family has a special place in my heart. Emery, Ava, and Addisyn are my littles. My precious girls who are always full of giggles, surprises, and adventure. Their magical view of life is so inspiring. They are all so creative and imaginative, and I hope they keep that forever. I have babysat them since Addisyn was 3 months old, it is so crazy how fast they grow up. I felt so priveleged when Priscilla asked me to take their fall family pictures! It is always so much fun. Hope you enjoy their little smiles as much as I do! They never fail to steal my heart.

Bo + Lydia. . .

Bo and Lydia just got married today! I had a chance to shoot their engagement session back in September, and I was just blown away by the kind of love they have for each other. Engagement sessions are always so amazing, I always feel like glimpses of love are some of the most amazing things to get to witness. And, this is a couple who patiently waited on God's timing, His provision, and His plan. It was so inspiring to me to hear their story. Bo and Lydia are just simply amazing. They love each other so much, and I was SO excited to take part in their amazing story. So, happy wedding day to Bo and Lydia, I know today was the best day of their lives. Here's to many more!

Day 3: Little Moments. . . {30 Days of Thankful}

With today starting a new week, I can't wait to see what is in store for the next couple of days. Sundays are always so refreshing. I love having one day of the week to just rest. Rest in God's love and faithfulness, it is so incredible. I did get a chance to have a session today which was beyond amazing. I did it for the three little girls that I've babysat for almost 4 years now. . . it is so hard to believe. Today's thankful is for little moments. Little moments that I never want to ever forget. Like today during the session, when little Addisyn looked at me with her big eyes and said, "Miss Megan, can I pwease hold your hand?!" Um, absolutely. Miss Addisyn is 3, and she and her sisters know how to melt my heart. They are just so incredibly precious. Just am thankful for the little moments I get to spend with them. Whether it is holding hands, giggling, painting little bitty toes, or coloring, I never want to forget a second with these girls. I am just so grateful that in spite of the business of every day, sometimes just stopping to enjoy the little moments are what make your day turn around. What little moments are melting your heart?
Here is us.

Day 2: Repurposing. . . {30 Days of Thankfulness}

{Day 2} Thankful for the ability to repurpose. Today I had the opportunity to take an ugly slab of wood and turn it into something great. This picture is JUST the beginnings, I cannot wait to show you the end result and finish it. But in doing it, and sitting on the floor painting away at work, I was reminded of my thankfulness for creativity and the ability to repurpose. Making beauty out of ashes. That's what Jesus did for me, and it is such an incredible reminder of where He has brought me from. I love being able to craft and make things, I really do miss having the time to do it. So with what I can do, I craft my heart away, and don't take for granted any second that I get to be creative.

Day 1: Glimpses of Fall. . . {30 Days of Thankful}

{Day 1} One of the things I have realized I take for granted are glimpses of fall. I sometimes get so caught up in the day, so busy driving around to the next appointment, job, meeting, class. I lose sight of the little details like how much the trees are changing everyday, how God gives us beautiful things even if we aren't looking. It's those little surprises that steal my heart. My favorite glimpses of fall are definitely the leaves and vibrancy of moss and plants. And, how can I forget, the way the leaves are ombre with the new colors fading and coming. It is just simply beautiful and takes my breath away.
