Driftwood Beach is one of those places that has my heart, and I'm not sure I will ever get it back. Every day I want to go back and be inspired like I know I was when I first visited this magical place. The twisting branches and roots were so whimsical and breathtaking. We got to eat lunch up in the driftwood, and it was as if we were on top of the world. The fresh ocean air, sand in my toes, the sun was beaming down so bright, I thought I might never want to leave. This was the start of my Christmas vacation, and it couldn't have started any better.
This is Jessica. She is one of those sweet friends that I'm not sure what I would do without. God really surprised me by bringing her into my life, and I can't imagine not being friends with her. She lives in Savannah, Georgia, and I got to go visit her and her family for three days. We did so much adventuring. Driftwood beach, Jekyll Island, and Tybee Island were three of the beaches we visited. Get ready to be inspired by our explorations.
In December, it is not common to go running through the ocean water. With the weather being 70*, I couldn't help but throw off my shoes and pearls and just run free, so free into the big blue waters that touched the sky.
